NO, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth!

Well I’m sure everyone thinks we have fallen off the face of the earth. Things have not quite gone as planed in our move o Fallon. Were to start….

Things were looking good for us to move right into a form Monterey Aaron had been in contact with housing here for two months before our move and the day before we left Monterey the housing waiting list grew and it looked like over a month wait for us so we decided to go to my mom and ads houses, and Disneyland! The kids had a great time I’ll post pictures on my blog when I have time.

Anyway while at Disneyland we heard form housing they said the have a house for us but we had to pick up the kids by Wednesday, this was Thursday so we told them no problem we’d be there Monday afternoon. So Friday we left Disneyland and headed back my parents and spent the weekend there. We go up early Monday and drove with very little stopping to get here before housing closed at 5:30. we got here around 5 we were tried with 3 kids who had been in a car all day! And we walked in to the housing office and everything just fell apart. The lady who normally runs the office was out of town and the bozo covering for her gave our house to someone else! So we had the dog and no were for her to stay. He called the lady who he was covering for on here cell and she had him give us an empty 3 bedroom to keep the dog at. So, after being there for an hour and getting extremely pissed off, we left to drop off sadi. Then look at the house we were getting but wouldn’t be ready for 2 WEEKS!!! It was a 2 story 4 bedroom and it was SO SMALL!! I was just getting more and more depressed. So we go to our room at the BEQ (for non- military that’s the barracks) they have a few family suits here in Fallon because the navy lodge has a total of 5 rooms. We walk in and the room is SO hot we turn the A/C down and an hour later NOTHING so we call the trouble desk and they say they’ll have someone out to look at in the MORNING!! There was no pull out couch like the said and there idea and our of a queen bed is very different it was a very small full bed Not a queen. Needless to say our first night in Fallon was awful!! So because the room sucked we decide to get air mattress and sleep at the house with e dog. It was much better the air worked and the air mattresses were more comfortable. The kids could also play out side in the yard. I was looking at this one story 3 bedroom thinking it was bigger then my 2 story 4 bedroom and told Aaron to call and see if they had a one story 4 we could look at, they did and it was bigger so we decide to take it instead. Then they told us they could have it ready by Monday when are stuff was being delivered needless to say it wan’t we had to have them replace the carpet it as yearn soaked by dogs and the smoked in the house. That took a week the house is still a work in progress we moving in on the 16th after spending over 2 weeks missed placed and we are still having housing in and out to fix things like the shower door and the stove, frig, light fixtures, blinds, outer doors and the list goes on and on (really it is 2 pages long!!) Oh yes and in the middle of all this my baby boy turns 3!! We had a BBQ and invited a few neighbors. SO needless to say life has been CRAZY here. We just got internet yesterday and I’ve been unpacking to find that they did a horrible job and thing are broken and missing. I moved over seas and nothing broke but they can’t make it 6 hours?? Well I hope everyone is doing well, I try to keep up my blog form here on out so you all can see what happening I resend out the invites so everyone can log into it. Or I may just un-password it I don’t know yet!

As for when Aaron leave for deployment it looking like early next year but he’ll be in and out for training until then.

I think I’ve covered everything sorry I’ve been out of touch!

Love you all,

Melissa

Yesterday week took the kids to Great America. It was a great time an we had lots of fun Ethan rode his first roller-coaster and the kids had there faces painted Alexis got a butterfly and Ethan wanted a tiger. He was so cute he sat so still for the lady and then after she was done his whole demeanor changed. He walk like he was hunting and was growling at everyone. He embody the tiger. Aaron rode all kinds of ride and me and Evie people watched. It was nice to get out as a family and have a good time. when we get to Fallon Aaron will be gone as much as he is home so who knows when we'll be able to do something like this again.

our crazy life

Well, things are crazy. We have started our two week count down until our move and boy OH boy!
I hate moving, cleaning out closets going through the kids stuff and getting ready for the movers to come in and move us. It is a big pain in the A*#.
Alexis is okay with the move for now but it is starting to get to Ethan he asks a lot of questions and the fear of the unknown is getting to him. He is acting out and doing his best to make me crazy.

How much do you think Evie wieghts?

Well I took Alexis and Evie to the doctors today for there 7 year old and 4 month old Check ups.Ethan just got to tag along, and cause trouble.By the time I left Ethan had made the visit such a trial I was ready to cry.He is testing me so much lately He is in full treble two mode!
Alexis is doing great she is healthy and looking good. She had to get a finger prick and that was the end of the world. But buy the time I dropped her off at school it was forgotten.
Evie is doing great also! She weights a whole 14 lbs 7 oz. She is my smallest Baby ever! At the same age Alexis and Ethan were almost 18lbs. She had to get shots and she was not happy about it at all . They are all healthy and ready to move to Fallon!

Not much to tell

Nothing really exciting here. Yesterday we went swimming with Amy's kids and Alexis and Ethan had a blast. When I told them we'd get a pool at our new house they were so excited.
Today Aaron took the kids to the beach I wasn't feeling to well so I stayed home with Evie. They had so much fun and came home covered in sand.

A moving update

We found out today that Aaron will not be going on deployment until early 2009 but that he will be in and out of our life's soon after we get to Fallon. He will be traveling back and forth between Fallon and Virgina for training and other stuff. Right now I'm okay with it all, but that may change.
I keep reminding myself that it could be worse and that I'm a strong women. But then I start to doubt myself. Well only time will tell.

What a day!

You know those moms you see in the store, with the kids having a total break down. And the mom is tiring so hard not to cry that she starts laughing. We've all seen them, felt for them and tried not to stare or criticize.Today I was that Mom! in target Ethan decided life was just to much for him and when I wouldn't carry him life was over. Yes my sweet normally very cooperative baby boy turned into a MONSTER form a nightmare! He took off the sandles I was buying him (that just two minutes before were the best thing ever) He wouldn't sit down in the stroller so I had to practically sit on him to buckle him up. My friend Amy was with me and she was tiring to help me and the two of us barely manged to get him in. He (being way to smart) managed to unclip the over the shoulder harness and stand up and continue to scream! I was just tiring to keep him in there so I could pay and leave. Not wanting to stay and inflict my suffering on any one else. Needless to say he got so worked up he almost throw up. He cried all the way to the car but was magically fine once in his car set. For him the hole thing was over and forgotten and I was traumatized. My back is now hurt and I am exhausted! when he went down for a nap I could of cried with joy!! But nap time was over to soon and he is now at this very moment bugging his sister and they are both screaming at each other!
And this is life!! and tomorrow is a new day!

Elkhorn Slough trip

We went on a family hike in the Elk horn wild life preserve Sunday before last, the hole family!!
It was Evie's first hike and big surprise she slept through the hole thing. Alexis and Ethan had a great time. Ethan's favorite part was throwing rocks into the ocean. Alexis liked crossing the brigades. Aaron and I just enjoyed watching them have fun.
When we got back to the car and did a tick check We found one on Ethan, YIKES!! with his allergies we weren't sure what would happen but when we looked closer we saw that it had not bitten him yet, talk about lucky!! But still I was a little traumatized All I could think about was what it he stop breathing? What if I have to use his EPI pin? But he was fine and once I started breathing again so was I. When we got home we were cold tried and hungry but we had a nice time.

Evie is 4 months old today

Well I can't believe it but Evie is 4 months old. It's weird because sometimes it feels like she has always been here and other time it feels like I was pregnant yesterday! She has become so much a part of who we are as family now. I cant image life with out her.

Here's what new

Okay let’s see, Well Alexis is loving baseball she may not be the best player but she's the most enthusiastic one. First grade is almost over and she's doing fine YEAH!! She has become quite the little DIVA and her favorite pass time is driving my nuts but all in all she is a good girl and we are lucky to have her in our lives.
Ethan is to smart for MY own good!! He has figured out every kind of baby gate out there so I can’t keep him out of the kitchen. He can open every baby proofing door gizmos that most adults can’t.
He has way to much energy I wish I could bottle it and sale it I’d be RICH! I can't wait until we get to Fallon and he starts preschool.
Evelynn is great, she rolled over for the first time the other day I don't know who was more surprised her or me? She is a happy baby and a good sleeper I can’t believe she is almost 4 months old! Were does the time go??
Aaron's good he can't wait to move he hates his job here. I think the change will be very good for him. Me on the other hand I’m not too excited about moving. I hate having to start over make new friends. And the kids are not to sure about moving so I have that to deal with too.
On top of it all Aaron will deploy so that will be a new one. Something I'm scared of but I'll make do.

We are very busy with getting ready to move. We leave in a month June 12 for those I haven't told. Thing are crazy but good!

Our Crazy life

Well everyone keeps asking me how the kids are, how things are with getting ready for our move and more. So I have decide to start this blog. You all can check it when ever you want to see what we're up too. I'll do my best to keep in update everyday.I hope this will keep everyone in the loop and this way I don't have to worry that I forgot to tell someone something.
My love to you all,
Melissa
